Lincoln and I started a Kindermusik class earlier this month and it’s been tons of fun so far. There are about 7 mamas with their babies and we spend the 45 minute class session dancing, swaying and tromping around the room singing silly songs… So, these days rather than having some “real” song stuck in my head, I find myself washing my face and singing, “Little red caboose, chug chug chug! Little red caboose, chug chug chug!”
In other Lincoln news, he is definitely on the verge of sitting up, unsupported by me. If he is in any sort of seat that is in a lounging position, he tries desperately to lean forward and sit up– which means I have to retire the bouncy seat. It doesn’t have shoulder straps, just a restraint at the waist; and I’m too nervous that he is going to be lounging in it, sit/lean too far forward and propel himself face first onto the floor!
Also, FYI I take a lot of pictures of Lincoln on my iPhone… it’s just often quite a bit easier than pulling out the big camera. I usually share them via Instagram, but if you don’t have the app, and are just dying to see more of Lincoln, I also upload them to Flickr, which anyone can access. You can see some of those pictures here on the blog, in the bar on the right or go here and you can see everything I’ve uploaded.
Here’s one new picture from my phone that I didn’t already ‘share’… I love our UPPAbaby Vista stroller, but Lincoln doesn’t like riding in the bassinet seat anymore (being flat on his back is no fun!), however he is too short/small for the ‘toddler’ seat. Well, I was delighted to find out that the company sells an ‘Infant SnugSeat‘ accessory that allows a smaller baby to ride in the regular ‘toddler’ seat. So, here’s Lincoln, sitting tall in his stroller like a big boy 🙂
